Cleveland police are investigating after a 65-year-old man was found dead in a downtown parking garage Monday evening.
Emergency crews responded to the structure near East 12th Street and Hamilton Avenue shortly after 7:15 p.m., according to Cleveland EMS.
Initial reports labeled the circumstances surrounding the death as suspicious. However, Cleveland Police later clarified that the department’s homicide unit is not currently involved. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause of death as the investigation continues.
