Cleveland authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man late Wednesday night in the city’s Hough neighborhood.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Tyresse Sanford, a Cleveland resident.

According to police, Sanford was initially brought to Cleveland Clinic by private vehicle just before midnight. He was later transferred by EMS to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the 5700 block of Curtis Court. The incident is being treated as a suspected homicide, though specific details surrounding the circumstances have not yet been released.
No arrests have been made at this time. Cleveland homicide detectives are continuing the investigation.
