Semi-Truck Overturns at Dead Man’s Curve, Causing Major Traffic Delays

Traffic on Interstate 90 in Cleveland was heavily backed up on Sunday afternoon following an overturned semi-truck at the notorious Dead Man’s Curve.

According to the Cleveland Fire Department, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. when the semi overturned, blocking all lanes of I-90 East near the State Route 2 West split. Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene, safely pulling the driver from the wreckage. The driver was transported to University Hospitals with serious injuries, according to Cleveland EMS.

Authorities have not yet confirmed what caused the crash, and drivers are being urged to avoid the area while cleanup efforts continue. All eastbound lanes remain closed as crews work to clear the scene.
