Authorities are looking into a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday at a popular downtown bar. Around 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the Frozen Daiquiri Bar & Restaurant, located at 721 Bolivar Road, after reports of gunfire. Although no victim was found at the scene, investigators discovered evidence indicating that shots had been fired.
Police later learned that the injured individual had been transported to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle. According to detectives, the victim had been involved in a physical altercation with an unidentified male suspect. As a large group looked on, the suspect allegedly fired multiple rounds at the victim once the fight concluded.
No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Cleveland police.
