Cleveland Police are investigating a fatal four-vehicle collision that occurred Friday evening on Interstate 90 East near East 55th Street. The crash, which happened around 6:30 p.m., resulted in the death of one individual at the scene.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) reported that a 30-year-old woman was transported to University Hospital in critical condition, while a 60-year-old woman was taken to MetroHealth in stable condition. Seven other adults involved in the crash declined medical care.
The accident caused significant traffic disruptions, with all lanes of I-90 East temporarily closed. However, the road was cleared, and all lanes were reopened by 8:15 p.m.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to gather details about the incident.
