Cleveland police are searching for 13-year-old Jayden Williams, who was reported missing for the second time in less than 12 hours after being located early Sunday morning.
Williams was first reported missing on November 13 and was listed as “endangered.” Police believe he took an Uber from the 1420 block of East 174th Street, his last known location at the time.
Jayden’s father, Richard Grayson, said his son had been living in a group home after falling in with the wrong crowd. Grayson expressed his concern and urged his son to return home.
“I just want him to know he’s loved,” Grayson said. “Whatever has happened, it’s behind us. Just come home, and we’ll figure it out together.”
Cleveland police confirmed they found Williams around 2:37 a.m. Sunday. However, by 1 p.m. that same day, he was reported missing again, this time from the Jane Edna Hunter Social Services building at 3955 Euclid Avenue.
Description
Williams is described as 5’3” tall, weighing 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Nike hoodie, gray sweatpants, and a red and black hat.
Investigation
The missing person investigation has been reopened, and Cleveland police are working to locate Williams. Uber, which police believe was used in connection with Williams’ movements, stated they are cooperating with the investigation.
