Authorities in Bainbridge Township are investigating a hit-and-run that injured a mother in the Target parking lot on North Market Place Monday evening.
According to police, the incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. when a 29-year-old woman from Warrensville Heights was struck by a vehicle while walking with her young child. The driver fled the scene before officers arrived.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was transported to Ahuja Medical Center for treatment. Thankfully, the child was not hurt in the incident.
