Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered along the Lake Erie shoreline near Cleveland’s Edgewater neighborhood on Monday afternoon.
Emergency responders were called to the 10400 block of Cliff Drive, where Cleveland firefighters assisted Metroparks police and the U.S. Coast Guard in recovery efforts.
According to fire officials, the body, identified as a male possibly in his 20s, was found near the shoreline between Cliff Drive and Lake Erie.
The cause of death remains under investigation, and Metroparks police are leading the ongoing inquiry.
