HOUSTON — A man accused of killing a Cleveland mother, whose body was discovered by her young daughter, has been taken into custody.

U.S. Marshals arrested 47-year-old John Booth in Houston on Thursday. Booth was wanted on an aggravated murder charge in connection with the death of 45-year-old Tosha Williams.
Authorities say Williams was found in her bed with a gunshot wound to the neck on March 13, 2024. Her 9-year-old daughter made the tragic discovery inside their home on Prosser Avenue.
“Sadly, this senseless act has left a child without a mother,” U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated in a news release. “We hope today’s arrest is a step toward justice for her family.”
