CLEVELAND, Ohio — A 14-year-old boy who was critically injured in a shooting on the east side of downtown Cleveland has died, authorities confirmed Wednesday afternoon.
Cleveland police responded to the 1800 block of East 13th Street around 2 p.m., where they found the teen suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported him to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was initially listed in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he was later pronounced dead.
No other injuries have been reported, and investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
