Shaker Heights Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Shaker Heights Library. The incident took place around 4:40 p.m. at the library’s Main Branch. Authorities confirmed that the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, with extreme life-saving measures being administered.
According to city officials, one individual is currently in custody in connection with the shooting. In the wake of the incident, the city announced that a reunification point for children and parents has been set up at the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Building.
