A man was killed Monday evening after his vehicle crashed into a home on Cleveland’s west side, according to the Cleveland Division of Fire.

Emergency crews responded around 8 p.m. to the 3600 block of Kenyon Avenue, where a single-vehicle collision had occurred. Witnesses told authorities the man had been driving erratically up and down the street, reportedly shouting at people before suddenly accelerating and losing control of the car.

The vehicle struck the house and came to rest on its side. Officials said the driver was partially ejected during the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene. Fire crews were forced to move the overturned vehicle in order to recover his body.
No other injuries were reported, and the incident remains under investigation.
